Description of Work: Toilet removal, flange/pipe/ring replacement, and new toilet installation. Member Comments: ACE was so great! I called on LABOR DAY and the owner picked up, listened, gave advice and had somebody booked to come out the next morning at 9 am! He told me all about toilets and talked me through the different products while I looked at them online. On a holiday! The next day, Shawn came and set me at ease. He came back THREE times to my house to advise on installation while my remodel was in process, and he even called from the warehouse to describe the different fixtures before I had to make a decision! They were perfect. |

Description of Work: Fixed cracked drain pipe. Member Comments: Came on time, (in the evening) to make estimate, came next day (with part) again in evening to do the work. Nice guys, straight forward and prompt. Would definitely use again. |

Description of Work: They ran a water line from the plumbing in kitchen to refrigerator so the automatic ice dispenser and water filter system would function. They changed out pipes to allow garbage disposal to function properly. Member Comments: Sean Patrick Alvey came to my house and was very professional and punctual. He checked out the job and gave me a price before leaving that day. He came back the next day and began the work. I was very pleased. Sean is a very delightful person. There scope of the work turned out to be a little more involved than he had initially thought, but he barely raised the price from the original estimate even though the scope of the work increased. I have to say I was very happy. |

Jonathan, (ACE Plumbing and Rooter) was a saving grace. We are out of state and had a serious plumbing problem with our property in San Francisco. I found Jonathan via the internet yellow pages and really got lucky. Not only was he out there and fixed the problem the same day but it was within hours. Jonathan went the extra mile and assisted us with another unrelated issue by referring us and assisting with the completion of that problem too. As absentee owners, we had to rely on someone to have access to our property and their honesty. Jonathan fulfilled all of those requirements with 200% satisfaction. I can't recommend him highly enough to assist with your needs. |

Description of Work: Removed and reseated toilet and installed a brass quicket flange. Member Comments:The young men were very personable, on time, and fast. They explained what needed to be done, estimated the cost and variables, and cleaned up when they were finished. I am very satisfied with the work and will definitely call this company again. |

Description of Work: I had a problem with water pressure. ACE Plumbing was able to troubleshoot the problem, and came up with a solution of installing a valve that would control the pressure of my water. Member Comments: When I called to schedule, I was pleasantly surprised at how accommodating the dispatcher was. They gave me the exact time slot I was looking for and were on time to the appointment. Very thorough in explaining my problem and solution. I was not positive that it would solve my problem, but took a chance and sure enough it has. The gentleman that came out was very well informed about plumbing and made me feel comfortable having him inside my home. |

Description of Work: Rebuilt leaking toilet. Member Comments: These guys were able to get a technician out within an hour after I called, and were very polite, professional, and prompt. Description of Work: The sewer in one of my rental properties backed-up. I was given two options. One, to run a snake through the line to clear it and two, to use a machine they called a hydro-jetter. I opted for the later since this has been an ongoing problem that I was looking for a long term solution for. At first I thought it sounded a little expensive, but, after I called two other companies to compare, (neither company showed-up in the time promised, as ACE had) I realized ACE's price was 10-20% less than the other plumbers I called. Member Comments: Used this company once before. Both times I was extremely satisfied with the level of service I received. Would recommend this company and would use again. |

Description of Work: My toilet was leaking in the tank and it caused water running noises every 15 minute, so Jonathon and Sean came to fix a few pieces in the tank. Member Comments: Jonathan and Sean were extremely professional and demonstrated strong knowledge of the existing problem and other problems I've noted. I especially liked the idea of having two guys show up and bounce ideas/thoughts/experiences with each other and myself. I would definitely give these guys a call if you have a problem. |

Description of Work: I'm a new home owner. I've never called a plumber. I've been in my condo for over two years and discovered that they installed the hookups to my washer and dryer incorrectly, and I wanted to add a splitter for a hose to use on our deck. We also have very little hot water coming out of our kitchen faucet, so I wanted that fixed. I checked on Angie's List and selected Ace Plumbing and Rooter. Member Comments: Sean came and was really nice and personable. He fixed the problem with the washer and dryer hookups and installed the hose to water the deck. He then started on the kitchen faucet and took it apart. He eventually said that I need a new kitchen faucet and said that he would only charge me when he came back (after I bought a new faucet). I bought a kitchen faucet, and he came back today to finish the job. |
